Datacenter Dynamics, one of the leading publications in the data center space, is helping forge the way forward for greener data centers and more sustainable energy use industry-wide. The Data Center Eco-Sustainability Award is set to be awarded to one project that displays an innovative and pioneering approach to sustainability in data centers on December 7, 2017 at the DCD Awards Gala.
In its 11th year of existence, the DCD Awards will go global this year, bringing stories of success and innovation from across our industry to more people and places than ever before. In addition to the Data Center Eco-Sustainability Award, DCD will also present the Energy Efficiency Improvers Award to the data center operator that demonstrated the greatest improvement in energy efficiency in their facilities.
At Digital Realty, we are grateful for publications like DCD that shine a light on the good work that many in our industry are doing, especially in the arena of sustainability. We firmly believe that because our industry plays such a critical role in nearly every aspect of society, it is our responsibility to help lead the way forward on important issues like sustainability.
