Building on Kokomo’s industrial legacy
Our proposed data center project in Kokomo, Indiana, would bring lasting economic investment and opportunity to Industrial Park North, increasing demand for construction workers, skilled trades, and local suppliers while providing digital infrastructure that supports everyday life.
Building on Kokomo’s industrial strength
The City of Firsts has a long history of building things, from automotive manufacturing to industrial innovation. Kokomo is proud to be the home of a skilled workforce and supplier base that continue to power Indiana’s economy.

Industrial Park North is being planned as part of Kokomo’s long-term strategy to support major industrial and advanced-technology investment. The proposed data center project would build on Kokomo’s large-project delivery experience, expand the local tax base, and create new opportunities for skilled work.
Creating work for skilled trades
The project is expected to increase demand for electricians, HVAC technicians, equipment operators, laborers, and other skilled trades. We expect to work with local workforce and education partners to design pathways into construction, technical, and long-term facility roles.
Designing with nearby areas in mind
The project is planned with voluntary perimeter buffers, landscaped berms, screening, noise-reducing features, responsible lighting, and construction practices designed to limit disruption. Water-conserving cooling and responsible infrastructure planning will help protect nearby properties and ratepayers.
Community benefits
New local investment
This project would bring long-term private investment to Industrial Park North and help strengthen Kokomo’s position as a destination for advanced technology and industrial growth, supporting thousands of jobs across the region.
Expanded tax base
New development would expand the local tax base and could generate tens of millions of dollars in new property tax revenue once fully operational.¹ This revenue can support schools, public safety, infrastructure, and community services. Additional community benefits are planned to be formalized through an Economic Development Agreement with the City of Kokomo.
Long-term career pathways
Once operational, the project would support technical, facilities, security, maintenance, and infrastructure-management roles, creating additional pathways into the digital infrastructure economy for residents.
Local supplier opportunities
The project is expected to create opportunities for regional contractors, vendors, service providers, and small businesses throughout construction and operations.
Responsible infrastructure planning
We will coordinate closely with local officials and local utility partners to ensure project-related infrastructure is planned responsibly. We will pay for the infrastructure upgrades needed for this project.
The buildout of approximately 1 GW of additional IT capacity is expected to strengthen the local power grid for residents.
