The Internet of Things, or IoT, is an emerging technology that's quite difficult to pin down.

According to Gartner estimates, for example, the IoT will include 26 billion units installed by 2020. Many other analysts are singing the praises of IoT’s potential in business environments. And yet, despite all of this, no one is quite sure how IoT will take shape in the enterprise, or what IoT deployments may have in store for tomorrow’s business leaders.
