Telx’s Anthony Rossabi, who served as EVP at Telx prior to his recent appointment as Managing Director, was elected President and Chair of the Board of Governors for the Pacific Telecommunications Council (PTC) on January 16th.

PTC is the leading membership organization for telecommunications and information and communication technology professionals with interests in the Asia-Pacific region. Rossabi, who has served on PTC's Board of Governors since 2015, joins Paul McCann, Gregg Daffner, and Brian Tellam on PTC's 2016 Board of Governors; their officer positions are Vice Chair, Secretary, and Treasurer, respectively.

The PTC's Board of Governors is elected by PTC membership. It has managerial and fiduciary oversight and is responsible for the Council's strategic development. As President and Chair of the Board of Governors, Rossabi will play a key role in the growth and development of PTC throughout his tenure.

We’ve given the formal introduction, but the story doesn’t stop there. Just a few days ago, Rossabi sat down with Sophie Ann Terrisse, Senior Advisor of Strategy at 26FIVE TECH, for an Executive Interview following the announcement.

In the interview, Rossabi discusses his goals and ideas as President, how he hopes to see PTC continue to innovate, what stands out about PTC, what he hopes to accomplish before PTC’17, and more. The interview provides a great look into Rossabi’s plans and goals for PTC in the coming months, and is an excellent watch for PTC members and casual onlookers alike. Have a look:

Please join us in congratulating Anthony on his new position! This is yet another exciting accomplishment in his career, and we can’t wait to see what he and the rest of PTC’s Board of Governors, Advisory Council, and membership are able to accomplish in the coming months.
