Andrew Power, President & Chief Executive Officer, Digital Realty

Andrew Power

President & Chief Executive Officer

Andrew (Andy) Power has served as Digital Realty’s Chief Executive Officer since 2022 and President since 2021. In this role, Andy sets Digital Realty’s vision, drives growth and profitability, and strengthens its position as the place where the world’s data, cloud, and AI come together. Andy joined Digital Realty in 2015 as Chief Financial Officer, a role he held through 2022.

Prior to joining Digital Realty, Andy held positions of increasing responsibility at Bank of America Merrill Lynch, where he most recently served as Managing Director of Real Estate, Gaming and Lodging Investment Banking and was responsible for relationships with over 40 public and private companies, including Digital Realty.

Prior to Bank of America Merrill Lynch, Andy was employed by Citigroup, where he held similar positions. During his investment banking career, he managed the execution of over $30 billion of public and private capital raises, including the largest REIT IPO at the time, and more than $19 billion of merger and acquisition transactions. He was part of the lead underwriting team that advised Digital Realty on its initial public offering in 2004 and served as a lead manager on nearly every subsequent public capital raise during his investment banking tenure.

Andy serves on the Board of Directors of Americold Realty Trust (NYSE: COLD), where he is a member of the audit committee and investment committee. He also joined The Real Estate Roundtable’s Board of Directors for a three-year term beginning July 1, 2024.

He received a Bachelor of Science degree in Analytical Finance from Wake Forest University.

Matt Mercier, Chief Financial Officer, Digital Realty

Matt Mercier

Chief Financial Officer

Matt Mercier is the Chief Financial Officer at Digital Realty, with responsibility for the company’s global corporate finance organization, including treasury, capital markets, investor relations, financial planning and reporting, accounting, and tax.

Matt joined Digital Realty in 2006, most recently serving as Senior Vice President Global Finance and Accounting. While at Digital Realty, he has held roles with increasing levels of responsibility, including leading corporate planning and capital markets, managing integration projects, overseeing joint ventures, and serving as principal accounting officer.

Matt has a B.A. in Business Administration and a Master of Business Administration (MBA) from University of California, Berkeley.

Greg Wright, Chief Investment Officer, Digital Realty

Greg Wright

Chief Investment Officer

Greg Wright is the Chief Investment Officer at Digital Realty, with responsibility for leading the company’s investment, acquisition and other capital allocation activities including global M&A, as well as spearheading its service providers and market strategy functions.

Prior to joining the Company, Greg was Co-Head of Americas Real Estate and Managing Director of the Real Estate, Gaming & Lodging Group at Bank of America Merrill Lynch, where he provided strategic and financial advice to clients across a broad spectrum of real estate, infrastructure, and related sectors, including Digital Realty.

Prior to Bank of America Merrill Lynch, Greg served as a Managing Director in the Real Estate and Lodging Group at Citigroup where he was responsible for originating and executing strategic advisory and capital raising assignments for clients.

Prior to Citigroup, Greg worked at Trammell Crow Company in Washington, D.C. where he was a member of the finance team responsible for acquisitions, dispositions, and joint ventures, as well as construction and permanent financings across multiple product types.

Greg has served as a member of the board of directors of Paramount Group, Inc. (NYSE) since May 2020 and is chair of the compensation committee.

He received a Bachelor of Arts degree in Finance from the University of Maryland and a Master of Business Administration degree from the University of Michigan.

Cindy Fiedelman, Chief Human Resources Officer, Digital Realty

Cindy Fiedelman

Chief Human Resources Officer

Cindy Fiedelman is Chief Human Resources Officer at Digital Realty, responsible for leading the company’s global human capital strategy, which includes talent management, leadership development, compensation and benefits programs, and human resources integration efforts related to mergers and acquisitions.

Prior to taking on this role, Cindy was Vice President of People & Diversity at American Airlines, where she led the organization-wide integration effort resulting from the $11 billion merger between American Airlines and US Airways. In addition, she led talent management, staffing, compensation and human resources operations globally. She also has held senior-level human resources and operations positions at companies including Avaya, Sun Microsystems and Comcast. Cindy has a proven track record of building teams focused on attracting top talent, transforming organizations, leading human resources activity around mergers and acquisitions as well as the subsequent integration efforts, and creating engaged workforces.

She received a Bachelor of Art degree in Art History from the University of Pennsylvania.

Chris Sharp, Chief Technology Officer, Digital Realty

Chris Sharp

Chief Technology Officer

Chris Sharp is the Chief Technology Officer and Executive Vice President of Design & Service Innovation at Digital Realty, with responsibility for the company's technology strategy and a customer-first technology organization spanning global solutions engineering, product development, information technology, and cybersecurity — a single, aligned path from customer requirements to repeatable products, delivered on secure systems.

Chris joined Digital Realty in 2015 and has over 20 years of experience in the technology industry, with an extensive background in developing technology strategies in global markets. He presented publicly on the emerging AI demand cycle as early as 2017, shaping Digital Realty's early relevance to AI by delivering large capacity blocks with dense interconnection — a combination that has proven critical to today's AI workloads. He guides the development of AI-ready infrastructure on PlatformDIGITAL®, including high-density power and liquid cooling.

Before joining Digital Realty, Chris was responsible for cloud innovation at Equinix, where he pioneered private access to the public cloud — leading the development of the industry's first cloud exchange and the interconnection capabilities that facilitated broad commercial adoption of cloud computing on a global basis. Where cloud traffic had previously traveled over the general internet, this private, business-class connectivity gave enterprises the confidence to run their businesses on the cloud — a shift that was fundamental to its growth.

Previously, Chris held leadership positions at top network and colocation providers, including Qwest Communications, MCI/Verizon Business and Reliance Globalcom. He serves as Chairman of FiberSense and previously served on the board of Colovore.

Chris studied computer science at the University of Texas at Arlington and business at the University of Phoenix.

Colin McLean, Chief Revenue Officer, Digital Realty

Colin McLean

Chief Revenue Officer

Colin McLean is the Chief Revenue Officer at Digital Realty, with responsibility for global sales and marketing across the full data center footprint. He is focused on growing and deepening Digital Realty’s focus on customers and partners, and the value they can derive by leveraging PlatformDIGITAL® globally to support the world’s largest meeting place for companies, technologies, and data.

Colin joined Digital Realty in 2017 and most recently served as Head of Sales in the Americas region. His previous senior leadership roles at Digital Realty include Senior Vice President of Global Accounts, and leader of the Global Sales Operations and Partnerships & Alliances efforts.

Prior to joining Digital Realty, Colin held increasingly senior leadership positions at Siemens and Unify (an Atos company), in which he built and led high performance sales and operations teams. He has over 25 years of sales, technology, and operational experience.

Colin holds a Bachelor of Arts degree from Wofford College and master’s degree from Pepperdine University.

Jeff Tapley, Chief Operating Officer, Digital Realty

Jeff Tapley

Chief Operating Officer

Jeff Tapley joined Digital Realty in August 2013 and is currently the Chief Operating Officer (COO) of the company. In his current role, Jeff is responsible for global leadership in the operations, design and construction, customer success and health and safety areas of the business. A key focus of the global operations team under his leadership is a customer-centric, consistent approach to how Digital Realty builds and operates globally.

Jeff is also a member of Digital Realty’s Investment Committee and a member of the Executive Leadership Team. Prior to becoming COO, Jeff served as Digital Realty’s Managing Director for EMEA and was the global lead for the Portfolio Management Group.

Before joining Digital Realty, Jeff spent 18 years within the private equity real estate group at Fidelity Investments, followed by two years with Long Wharf Real Estate Partners. He served as Managing Director of both firms and was a principal in acquiring and structuring joint ventures in all forms of commercial real estate for the company-sponsored value-add investment vehicles.

Jeff holds a Master of Business Administration (MBA) in Finance from Bentley University, a Bachelor of Arts degree in Business and Economics from Saint Anselm College and is a Chartered Financial Analyst.

Jeannie Lee, Executive Vice President, General Counsel and Secretary, Digital Realty

Jeannie Lee

Executive Vice President, General Counsel and Secretary

Jeannie Lee is Executive Vice President, General Counsel and Secretary of Digital Realty and is responsible for leading the global legal, sustainability, risk management, governance, and compliance functions. She joined the company in 2010.

Prior to joining the company, Jeannie was a corporate attorney with Latham & Watkins LLP where her practice included public company representation and capital markets, mergers and acquisitions and venture capital transactions.

Jeannie received a Bachelor of Arts degree from the University of California, Berkeley, and a Juris Doctor degree from the University of Michigan Law School.

Serene Nah, Managing Director and Head of Asia Pacific, Digital Realty

Serene Nah

Managing Director and Head of Asia Pacific

As Managing Director and Head of Asia Pacific, Serene leads Digital Realty’s strategic growth in established and new markets to further the reach and deliver the value of PlatformDIGITAL®, the world’s largest meeting place for companies, technologies and data, across the region.

Serene has extensive in-depth expertise in finance, mergers and acquisitions and business transformation from her previous roles at General Electric, Silverlake Partners, and most recently as Executive Director and Chief Financial Officer at Kerry Properties, where she led finance, corporate development, strategy and operations.

She currently chairs the board of Digital Core REIT and serves as Vice Chair of the Asia Pacific Data Center Association (APDCA), where she is leading efforts to drive a unified dialogue on data center policy across the region.

A strong supporter of diversity, equity, and inclusion (DEI), Serene is the executive sponsor of Digital Realty’s Women’s Leadership Forum (WLF) in Asia Pacific.

Serene has a Bachelor of Business from Nanyang Technological University and an Executive MBA from Kellogg-HKUST.

Steve Smith, Managing Director, Americas, Digital Realty

Steve Smith

Managing Director, Americas

Steve Smith, Managing Director of Americas, leads Digital Realty’s team in driving profitable growth and value of PlatformDIGITAL® in the Americas region. His overarching focus is to align the investment and operational strategy of Digital Realty’s physical assets and industry leading enhanced technology capabilities to accelerate customer growth.

Steve joined Digital Realty following eight years at CoreSite, most recently in the role of Chief Revenue Officer, where he was responsible for the customer lifecycle, including sales and sales engineering, marketing, and new product innovation. Including previous roles at SAP and Avaya, he brings more than 25 years of management experience across enterprise software, network, managed services, and data center infrastructure.

Steve holds a Bachelor of Arts (BA) degree in Business Administration from the University of New Mexico.

Paula Cogan, EMEA Managing Director, Digital Realty

Paula Cogan

EMEA Managing Director

Paula Cogan joined Digital Realty in March 2025 as EMEA Managing Director. She is a seasoned leader with expertise in sales and strategic transformation and has a proven track record of leadership across the digital infrastructure landscape, empowering high-performance cultures while delivering top-line revenue results.

Prior to joining Digital Realty, Paula held the role of Chief Executive Officer of euNetworks Group, a role she was promoted to after serving as President of euNetworks from November 2021. She spent six years at COLT, ultimately as Chief Commercial Officer, and led the sales and marketing organizations as a member of the company’s Executive Leadership Team.

She has over 30 years of experience working in the telecom industry and has held various senior leadership positions in companies such as British Telecom (BT) and Verizon. Paula’s achievements have been underpinned by her ability to foster strong relationships with customers and partners, whilst remaining focused on leading and transforming organizations.

Paula is committed to promoting and driving inclusion and diversity within the telecom Industry. Paula holds a BA (Hons), Philosophy from Kings College, University of London.
