Our facility at 60 Hudson Street is recognized as the most important colocation and interconnection facility — not just in NYC, but the entire U.S. The Digital Realty flagship facility serves as the nerve center for international communications, offering access to physical connection points to the world’s telecommunications networks and Internet backbones. Occupying multiple floors with interconnectivity between all points, our site offers low-latency access to more than 400 carriers, financial exchanges and application, media, content, and software-as-a-service providers with just a single connection.

Leveraging Digital realty’s Metro Connect solution, customers at this location can directly access the wide range of services provided by our customers throughout the entire metroplex. Our location also provides access to the Digital Realty Internet Exchange and multiple peering exchanges. In addition, all our interconnection, colocation and installations offer premier air-conditioned space, state-of-the-art access control and surveillance systems that comply with or exceed International Telecommunication Union (ITU) industry standards.

At over 100,000 sq.ft. on multiple floors, NYC2 has become a central hub for hundreds of leading domestic and international carriers and physical connection points for the world’s telecommunications networks and Internet backbones. Located approximately 60 minutes from Manhattan in Fairfield County, the Trumbull data center facility is situated on 8.4 acres of land, with 117,000 sq. ft. occupying the main data center building and 53,000 square feet of dedicated Business Continuity Program space. With convenient access to major roadways (Rt. 95, Rt. 84, CT Rt. 15, & CT Rt. 8) and several railway stations (Bridgeport, New Haven, & Stamford), 80 Merritt Boulevard is ideally located to provide regionalized data center solutions to metro New York and Connecticut markets.

A recent building expansion completed in early 2013 has added 70,000 square feet with an additional 7.5 MVA of redundant utility power. In total, the expansion will support 3,375 kW of critical IT load and is designed to be concurrently maintainable for all key infrastructure components. The second 1,125 kW Turn-key FlexTM data center suite is available for immediate occupancy.
