Telx, a leading provider of global interconnectivity, data center solutions and cloud enablement services, today announced the expansions of its NYC1 & NYC3 data center facilities by 60,000 square feet and 50,000 square feet respectively.
Known as the ‘Urban Giants’ from the documentary produced by Telx, the buildings where NYC1 and NYC3 reside are historically critical telecommunications buildings that remain cornerstones of global communication and information exchange to this day. These new deployments complement Telx’s comprehensive New York City metropolitan presence that now serves over 870 customers across approximately 700,000 square feet.
When we introduced the Telx Trifecta a few months ago, we wanted to make clear that we were committed to bringing an entirely new perspective to the New York data center and colocation market. Less than three months later, we’re proud to announce this expansion that will further strengthen the Trifecta. This expansion represents significant growth for Telx and highlights its continued commitment to its customers as well as its overall success within the metro area.
