Blake Mitchell
May 15, 2014

Telx, a leading provider of global interconnectivity, cloud enablement services and data center solutions, today announced the expansion of DE-CIX’s Internet exchange services to two of its six New York City metro data centers, NYC1 and NYC2. DE-CIX North America is a carrier-and data-neutral Internet exchange distributed across several carrier hotels and data centers throughout the NY/NJ metro area.

Location is essential to Internet exchanges like DE-CIX, as Tony Rossabi, Senior Vice President, Service Provider Markets, notes in the press release about this expansion. “With multiple access points available in Telx’s New York City data center facilities, DE-CIX is now able to provide a scalable infrastructure with highly secure and resilient connectivity to its customers throughout the metro area.”

NYC1 and NYC2 are now supporting DE-CIX’s customer base throughout the New York/New Jersey metro area. For more information, please see the full press release published here on Telx’s website.
