Digital Realty expands direct access to IBM Cloud via Service Exchange

August 29, 2018  |  Written by Rick Moore, Service Enablement Director

At Digital Realty, one of our primary goals is to deliver innovation to our customers by collaborating with some of the biggest names in cloud computing to provide best-in-class, high-performance solutions. That’s why we recently announced the expansion of our partnership with IBM Cloud, adding direct, secure access to IBM Cloud in 15 global markets.

Digital Realty’s Service Exchange platform is an excellent connectivity option for enterprises who want direct access to IBM Cloud. Service Exchange provides private, secure, low latency access to many of the most popular cloud and IT service providers worldwide. Our platform makes it easy to manage multiple, complex services within a single user interface and eliminates some of the pitfalls associated with hybrid cloud deployments by overcoming the traditional limitations of the public Internet and reducing network congestion.

It’s important to maintain the power of choice when making critical decisions about cloud and IT services. By adding this new option to connect to IBM Cloud across Service Exchange, you’ll have access to a powerful tool to help you adapt as your needs grow and “future-proof” your IT environment.
